Say it ain’t so.  According to Brooklyn Vegan, Live Nation might be trying to dick out of their lease with the Gramercy Theatre.  The venue’s full name was always The Blender Theater @ Gramercy, but since Blender Magazine doesn’t actually exist anymore…..I guess that created some issues?  ::Shrug::

It’s not that there aren’t about 297359.342 other New York venues for smaller-scale acts to play in, but Blender has always been one of the go-to places for all the metal bands rolling through town.  Also, they’re one of the few places that has SEATS.  I like to take advantage of those whenever I’m there.

They are also great spellers.
