To my dearest Julia,

As much as I approve of the relationship you have with Mr. Morton, I can’t help but feel like he is playing hard-to-get with you.  He seems to schedule all of his events around days when you can’t possibly be there.  I’d talk to him for you, but I can’t make it to the signing or the show at Roseland that night, since, I have work, and will probably be leaving to go upstate promptly after.

The two of you seriously need to get together and discuss these issues you are having.  I hate to see you so hurt all the time.
