Ok, it’s my turn to give Wussy Wednesday a try. Today I present to you: “Morir Su Amor” by Kudai

Now, as you know I just got back from two weeks in South America, including 3 days in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This little pop group is HUGE in South America- the video was on MTVLA all the time and I heard this song just about everywhere I went. Even though I don’t know exactly what they’re saying, I’ve got to admit the song is DAMN CATCHY. There’s a lot to be said about this video though, so let’s examine:

• The chick with the eyebrow ring. Eyebrow rings are extremely common in South America, who knew? Are they still considered outdated in the states?
• The dude with the tats and piercings. Now, when I first looked at this guy, I was like “Um, dude, I think you’re in the wrong genre of music” Maybe all of the facial piercings are to try and distract you from his horrible teeth. If that’s it, it’s not working. Sorry.
• If you watch the whole thing you can gather that the song is about anti-abuse and such. But why does the victim have to be a blonde? Shit ain’t right folks.

But everything else aside, it’s a cute little diddy that’s been stuck in my head for a while now. Wussy indeed ;)
