Over the years, Elise and I’s hometown venue The Chance Theatre in Poughkeepsie, NY has had some stellar acts roll through. Also some not so stellar acts. It’s always been pick and choose, but looking at the lineup the have for the summer, it’s looking BLEAK to say the least. The only decent shows are Queensryche and Chimaira- neither of which I’m huge fans of, but would go if I had the money and the time. I have no desire to see LFO, bands with burlesque dancers, or any whiny 13-years with more hair in their faces than Cousin It.
Dear The Chance, You’re breaking my heart. Please get better bands to play this summer.
