I still exist!

Holy crap. Like Elise said, my life has become crazy in the last week and I haven’t been able to post hardly at all. But hey, I have time now, so let me update you with a couple of highlights from the week:

-I’m now working in the fashion district of NYC, and according I see a lot of interesting characters around 7th Ave. But the most interesting at all. A completely legit metal granny. All leather (skin and clothing) no lace, Lamb of God t-shirt, black eye makeup, and a badass attitude. I was a heartbeat away from stopping her and giving her a hug.

-Earlier in the week, Southern NY had a bout of bad weather. Thunder and lightning, very very frightening. I finally got to my car at the park and ride and decided to listen to Dio; some “Rainbow in the Dark”. As soon as that little man sang “When there’s LIGHTNING”, BAM!!! There was lightning, right on cue, perfectly lighting the drive home. I also passed a turkey this morning on the drive to the park and ride. I’ll let you decide on the better story there.

-One of my coworkers is from Europe, but I wasn’t sure where. The more I listen to her talk, the more she sounds like Anette Olzon. I have to listen to Top 40 bullshit all day long, so that’s the most metal I get at work. That, and using the clothing tag gun.

-Lastly, I was talking to another coworker of mine today and mentioned that I was going to a show this weekend. She asked me who, so naturally I told her, and her response was “You lost me at the first one. Sounds interesting though.”

Anyway, now that it’s the weekend, I’ve got some stuff up my sleeve. And we’ve got some goodies in the works. PLUS, soon both Elise AND me will be in New York, NY together together and you know what that means…
