WELCOME TO THE CLUB, PSYOPUS

I don’t know why I didn’t do a post on this sooner, but…Julia and I went to the Atheist show here in New York on Sunday night and enjoyed ourselves very much. Most of that was thanks to Psyopus.
Some highlights of Sunday night:
- B.B. King’s. I still hate that place, damnit.
- The first band to play, Gnostic, or GUH-nostic as I now like to call them were nothing to rave about. The singer’s mic kept shorting out and I’m pretty sure I’d still not care about them, even if I heard everything.
- The Agonist cancelled last minute. I think their van broke down or something. When Gnostic announced this, the whole venue (minus about two people), cheered. Julia wanted to see them. I was ok with seeing them. I wanted to give a chick band a chance, for once. Oh well.
- I enjoyed The Faceless. Luckily, mine is still intact.
- To the drunk dbag who snuck up behind Julia and I and yelled HEYYYY in the middle The Faceless’ set: Sorry we didn’t respond to you, but as I just mentioned, you are a drunk dbag.
- Atheist were pretty good. Their set was kind of short, but that’s ok. I had work in the am.
Very excited for Pig Destroyer on the 31st. Will you be there?
-Elise
