WUSSY WEDNESDAY - 8/19/09

Since I believe I’ve been showing my wussiness in spades as of late- from my previous WW’s to my lame-o lack of blogging- I’m going to go easy on you and myself this week by being just wussy enough without overdoing it.

Here’s the deal: At my job we normally listen to your typical “80’s, 90’s and today” “lite” FM kinda station. I have heard many of these over the years (I am a radio person after all), but I’ve never heard a radio station so repetitive in my life. Literally, it’s Miley Cyrus, Billy Joel, Taylor Swift, Billy Joel, Elton John, Nickleback, Billy Joel… you get the picture. So out of the blue, my boss changes the station to a classic rock station. AND I’VE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY AT WORK IN MY LIFE.

Mostly because of one song in particular: Van Halen “Panama”

I’m not a big Van Halen fan, although it’s no secret that I have a soft spot for all 80’s hair metal. Lately, this song has been getting me excited like no other and I’m willing to take all the excitement I can get.

So you can’t make fun of me too much this week, but never fear, I’m sure there will be plenty of giggles in no time…
