NOW THAT’S MORE LIKE IT

I’ve been hesitant to see the new Where The Wild Things Are movie.  I loved the book as a kid, but the movie just looks fucking creepy.  There’s big friendly, furry beasts roaming about, and I heard that The Arcade Fire wrote most of the soundtrack.  Ughhh, gross.  Damn you, Spike Jonze.

And while I’m no huge fan of Rob Zombie films either, if this is how he’d do it…it seems like it’d be a better fit for me.  Mmmmm gore and guns.  I wonder how he’d do Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs…?
