WILL DETHKLOK EVER GET THE JOSIE TREATMENT?

I’m going to see the big Dethklok/Mastodon/Converge/High on Fire show tonight.  I’m somewhat relieved that the day has finally come, only because I’ve heard way too much about this tour over the past few months and I’m kind of sick of it.  DETHKLOK, DETHKLOK, DETHKLOK! This isn’t like, Black Sabbath or anything.  Calm down, people.

Anyway, over the past couple days, I’ve been nerd-ing out, listening to some other iconic cartoon bands.  My dad got me into Archie comics when I was a kid, so I always got a huge kick out of The Archies and Josie and the Pussycats which was adapted into a real-life movie back in 2001.  I’m not sure if Brendon Small has addressed it already, but would he ever do this?  I lean towards no, but since it seems like Dethklok are friggin’ everywhere these days…maybe?

Well, if this does happen.  It probably never will, but IF IT DOES…it’s kind of fun to think about who they would get to play all the characters.  I would like to nominate Jeff Goldblum for the part of The Manager. ….or Edward Norton…..
