LOSING YOUR CAT IS REALLY BRUTAL!

At first I had no idea why my friend Mike sent this to me, since it just seemed like some indie schmuck movie short…..but it’s actually pretty damn funny.  Meet “Sally Cohen,” a bubbly young girl who discovered metal (power, heavy and death!) after the tragic loss of her kitty cat, Buster.  Major props to Amon Amarth for their “cameo” in this, but I think the star of this whole thing is the fist pumpin’ dude standing behind her.

What’s going on with this whole kitty/metal thing lately?  A few weeks I found this gem, and last week I saw this post on Invisible Oranges on how metalheads tend to be cat people.  It’s so oddly true.  Julia’s family has cats, and I grew up with two, myself.  Off the top of my head, I can think of way more “metal people” that I know who have cats, than dogs.  Why is that?

I’ll try not to dwell on it.  Now if you’d excuse me, I have to go scream away my sadness!
