HAPPY VETERAN’S DAY

Sometimes I think my iPod is alive, and knows me far better than it should. Whenever I put it on “Shuffle” it somehow plays the most appropriate songs for whatever I may be feeling or whatever is going on. For example, when I’m frustrated, I get a lot of Hatebreed and Throwdown. When I’m excited, I get 80’s hair metal. When I’m stressed, it’s like my iPod knows that some Lamb of God is what I need to cheer me up. Catch my drift?

So today, on Veteran’s Day, I got a lot of Demon Hunter. Odd. A lot of our armed forces are metalheads after all (it’s fitting after all. We’re tough cookies). I don’t like to mess around when I think I’m getting signs, so for all our soldiers- at home and overseas- I lift my glass to you today. Thanks for all you do.
