W T FINNTROLL

The year is winding down.  Wanna know how I can tell?  Well, Christmas decorations are already up everywhere I look, and I’ve also been drowning in a sea of “Best of” lists.  Not even just normal end-of-year ones, but also a whole bunch of schmucky BEST 8436 ALBUMS OF THE PAST 3.5 DECADES or whatever.  Um…we get it.  You listen to a lot of music.  RELAX! That said, Julia and I will have our plain old “ordinary” Best of ‘09 lists ready for you in about a month or so.

Looking forward now to 2010, one album I really wanna hear is this new one from Finntroll, who in my mind, are the Andrew W.K. of folk metal.  And POTTY HARD we will!  The band just posted a little video tease on their website to promote their new jam, Mot Skuggornas Värld, which will be out early next year.  I can’t really make much sense of it, but it features a talking deer head telling jokes about Kenny Rogers….?  I can’t embed it on here, but click the pic below and see for yourself.
