RiB’S METAL MENORAH: NIGHT 2

Shalom metaloids! Tis the season and since between the two of us we have 1.5 Jews we decided to put together a little something for (C)Hanukkah. This is Reign in Blonde’s Metal Menorah, and every night we’re lighting a candle in honor of someone who deserves some recognition. So grab your lighters Jews and Gent(ile)s, it’s Metal Menorah time! Tonight’s Honoree…

JEWZ

Seems a little redundant to light a candle on the menorah for Jews, huh?  Well, there’s a little more to it than just that.  It sure seems like Julia and I will now always be quite sentimental around this time of year.  As some of you know, we recently passed our one year anniversary.  During holiday time in 2008 (shortly after we acquired our domain name), we attended a most unusual event called Major League Dreidel.  It was then when we came face to face to not only a bunch of Jewz who take a silly spinning top game VERY SERIOUSLY,  but also a band called the Gods of Fire, a most Jewy metal spectacle.  Two members of this band were the reason we came up with Reign in Blonde to begin with, so we owe those dudes big time.

Tonight, as a matter of fact, we will be giving this most esteemed event a second go-round, not only as spectators, but as actual competitors.  Julia is “Jewlia” for the evening, and I will be going by “NUNcy Pelosi.”  (hee hee…get it?)  Wish us luck.  I think I’ll be shooting a second video, as well.
