HAPPY BIRTHDAY, \M/ELVIS!

If people are going to keep celebrating Dimebag’s birthday, we should all celebrate Elvis Presley’s, too.  Once I had an argument with someone over whether or not “old standards” like Elvis or The Beatles had any profound effect on the “tuff” music we listen to now.  I firmly believe that they did.  Not necessarily for music stylings, but for their ”rebellious” nature.

Anyway, the King would have been 75 today.  Appropriately, I found some videos the other day of this “Metal Elvis” singing his songs while mashed with some other old school jams.  This one’s of Elvis’ famous intro song “See See Rider” (best. song. ever.) with Van Halen’s version of The Kinks’ “You Really Got Me.”
