WHEN MY WORLDS COLLIDE: MEET IRON WEASEL

Anyone who knows me, knows that my true expertise is kiddie television.  I pretty much got my PhD in it.  In fact, I could probably start my own version of Stuff You Will Hate devoted only to Disney and Nickelodeon TV shows, but….I’ll just stick with this for now.

Anyway, a new show that ALL OF YOU ARE TOTALLY GOING TO HATE is starting tonight on The Disney Channel Disney XD, and it’s called I’m in the Band. According to Wikipedia:

The show follows the story of Tripp Campbell, who joins the band he idolizes, Iron Weasel. Then, he sets out to help the band make a comeback.

Cute premise.  A kid joining his favorite band.  In true Disney form, that is a DREAM COME TRUE.  I’m not really sure if this will be all that funny though, because it’s pretty much Steel Panther: THE SERIES…but it has the funny teacher from Hannah Montana in it (aka actor Greg Baker), and that’s cool by me.  I’ll check it out, at least.

I’m in the Band premieres on The Disney Channel, tonight @ 7 pm. UPDATE!!! Whooooops I can’t read. This show did not premiere on TV, but rather Disney’s online channel, Disney XD.  Not sure when if/when it’ll actually be on regular television. :/

UPDATE #2:  I’ve watched the show, and I honestly love it.  Seriously, it’s pretty funny.  All you idiots who are going to start bitching about how Disney is “mad false, yo” and causing THE DOWNFALL OF SOCETY OHNOES!!!! can suck it.  It’s just a silly kids’ show….relax.
