EVERGREEN TERRACE WRITE BLAH SONGS AND BLAH-ER COVERS

I always felt like I needed to like Evergreen Terrace back in high school because a bunch of people I knew were into them. But I have yet to hear a single song by them that bears a repeat listen.  And how many more damn covers can one band possibly do?  This Foo Fighters one is the latest to hit the interwebz, and I am underwhelmed as usual.

A couple more they did on that Writers Block covers album a few years ago…

Tears For Fears - “Mad World”  No, this song does not need any breakdowns.

Hum - “Stars”  Thanks for screaming aimlessly through one of the prettiest songs ever written.

Sponge - “Plowed” …Did they even TRY?

Any ET fans out there?  Enlighten me.  What’s their best stuff?  Is there something that WON’T put me to sleep?
