DON’T LET CURIOSITY KILL THE KITTIE
About a week or so ago, some shocking news was brought to my and the metal world’s attention: Kittie is going back on tour- with INSANE CLOWN POSSE and COOLIO. Like many, I thought it was some kind of weird joke, but then report after report came out all saying the same thing and generally asking the same questions:
- What?!?
- Why?!?
When I interviewed Morgan and Mercedes at the beginning of the month, there was no allusion to an upcoming tour of such shocking proportions. Since the announcement they’ve said that it was one of the last things their father, Dave Lander, had booked for them before he passed away and for that reason I understand why they would do it… but I JUS’T. Don’t. Get it.
Thank God for Noisecreep and the awesomeness that is our girl Amy Sciarretto. When they talk about it with her I feel surprisingly reassured, that although it’s a strange combo, it’s all gonna be ok… right?
What would YOU do if one of your favorite bands was all of a sudden opening for I don’t know, say, Nickelback?
