BITTERSWEET SIXTEEN
Sixteen years ago today, Kurt Cobain’s body was found in his Seattle home. I know I’m not the only metalhead who loves Nirvana, but I have to say that their music might be even more iconic now than it was then. It’s hard to believe that they only had a couple full-length studio albums and have this much staying power and relevancy to the rock genre today. I wouldn’t be where I am now creatively and mentally without Nirvana… in fact, that’s kind of a scary thought. RIP Kurdt.
