I’LL EAT YOUR *MOM’S* FACE
I first heard or Irish shredders I’ll Eat Your Face from the fellow metal enthusiasts over at The Number of the Blog. I was hesitant to listen to them, however, because after one of their writers raved about how much he dug Avantasia, I was all nah uhhhhh youz iz trippinnnn’.
But alas, I’ve managed to come around and give this a go, and was delighted to discover that they’re not so bad. Not so bad at all. In fact, they are actually quite good. And if you enjoy your fair share of guitar nerdery like that of Behold…the Arctopus or even Psyopus, you might dig this too. And you CAN dig this…for free! I’ll Eat Your Face’s album, Irritant is available for free download on their Band Camp page. What a nice buncha chaps, eh?
The only thing I’m wondering now is why I’ll Eat Your Face are so obsessed with body parts. Look at these song titles:
- “I Have a Wold On My Head”
- “Eyes Full of Shit”
- “Really Long Arms”
- “Pecks From Hell”
- “Rat Milk Moustache”
Where’s da booty action, fellas? Maybe for the next album…
