BORIS WILL SAVE THEIR WORRIES FOR ANOTHER DAY

I haven’t always been the hugest-est of hugest-est-est-est-est fans of Boris.  I think it’s because I’ve always preferred the wackier, upbeat tendencies of other Japanese bands like Melt-Banana, Polysics or even The Pillows (big ups to the FLCL dorks out there).

Well, this new video for “Heavy Metal Addict” may prove that Boris are sillier than I originally thought.  The wigs sort of remind me of Fraggle Rock.  I think some other now unemployed metal bloggers might have jumped the gun a bit in saying Boris were “ditching” metal.
